Does exactly what it says on the tin. Having used a Dutch self inflating sleep mat for a few years and finding myself in need of a replacement, I came across this gem. Smaller than any foam mat when rolled up, larger than any when opened up! Closed cell mats are not especially for warmth, this however is comfortable amd sufficiently insulating! Love the added wings and non slip coating on the mat itself. Not too heavy, not too bulky, worth every penny!
