Yet to use this item, but it's beautifully made and up the the normal high Petromax standard when it comes to build quality. So simple to deploy too, just lift the handle and out pop the legs - I used to have a portable firepit that you had to construct using nuts and bolts, this is simplicity itself.

Twice used as a BBQ to date and very happy with the product. Everything about this shouts quality. I have used briquettes on both occasions and they light with no trouble. You need patience ( about 20 to 30 minutes ) to allow the fuel to come to temperature, but it is a trouble free process with the airflow set open to maximum.
