This classic third generation UV water purifier comes with an additional pre-filter, which rids the water of coarse dirt particles and readies the water for purification by UV light.

The classic UV water purifier can be powered with batteries and its UV lamp has a lifespan of approximately 8000 uses. At just 178 grams, the Steripen Classic 3 carries hardly any weight and can easily be stowed in your backpack. A small bulb glows red or green to indicate the successful completion of the treatment process
