Condor Scout Hatchet

The Condor Scout Hatchet is a compact, no-nonsense tool built for camp and trail work. Forged from high carbon steel with a natural finish, it strikes a balance between toughness and ease of maintenance – just keep it oiled and it’ll serve faithfully for years. The cutting edge is wide enough for splitting kindling and carving, while the poll is left solid for light hammering duties around camp.

The American hickory handle is straight and slim, giving excellent feedback in hand and enough length for controlled one-handed work without being cumbersome to pack. Condor finish it with their classic welted leather sheath, so it rides safely in a rucksack or on a belt.

As with most of Condor’s tools, the Scout Hatchet is simple, honest and made with the outdoorsman in mind – whether you’re setting up a campfire, knocking in tent pegs or trimming wood for bushcraft projects.

Note: This axe comes shop sharp, it will need work to bring it to a razor sharp finish.
