12. A Hadza shelter or e-tsako, made generally by the women. It is constructed using thin, flexible saplings dug into the ground then backfilled. These are then bent over and lashed together to form a dome shape. It is then covered with wild sisal (olduvai) to form shelter from the sun. The e-tsako are a semi-permanent shelter.
