The combination of Merino wool and polyester (Protex M) provides the garment with flame-retardant properties without the use of chemicals. The material feels comfortable against the skin, is very durable and heat-insulating even when wet. It does not itch or cause allergic reactions. The flame-retardant properties are not reduced over time or when the garment is washed. The fabric is ISO 11612 certified (requirements relating to clothing for protection against heat and flame).
